FY 2021-22 was a year marked with challenges, beginning with the second wave of the pandemic and exacerbated by global geopolitical tensions. Economies globally are facing a significant slowdown, contractions in the commodity, trade, supply chain and financial markets with an increased inflation.

FY 2021-22 was a challenging year on many fronts. The twin spikes of the pandemic that impacted India’s economic recovery, continuing supply chain disruptions, rising input costs and the geopolitical crisis made it a difficult year overall. To successfully navigate the challenges, we, at JSW Cement, continued to follow our business continuity plan and adopted a proactive and responsible approach in mitigating the business risks.

We plan to reach a capacity of 25 MTPA in the near term, primarily from brownfield expansions in the South, West and East regions. We have embarked upon new expansion phases at its manufacturing facilities in Dolvi in Maharashtra and Vijayanagar in Karnataka. Both of these new projects will add 2 MTPA each to these units.
