WOC India introduced 11 awards categories, with JSW Cement receiving the "Product of the Year - Cement" award for their environmentally friendly Power Pro cement.
The World of Concrete, based in Las Vegas, is an annual international event exclusively for the concrete and masonry construction industries, featuring top suppliers and cutting-edge products. The Indian edition, WOC India, was established in 2012 and is organized by Informa Markets India Private Limited. Portland Slag Cement (PSC), containing 60% slag, a steel industry by-product, resulting in the lowest carbon emissions in the Indian market. Power Pro offers superior cohesion, a modified pore structure, and is ideal for strength-bearing structures, with higher late strength and resistance to sulphates and chlorides, making it suitable for coastal construction.

JSW Cement, Dolvi plant received the prestigious 2024 Sword of Honour award from the British Safety Council in a Ceremony held in London on 29th November 2024.
The award recognizes excellence in Occupational Health, Safety and Well-being within the company. This is one of the Highest International recognitions for its exemplary commitment to Health, Safety and well-being. This remarkable achievement distinguishes Dolvi Unit as the first unit within the JSW Cement Group to earn this honour on its very first attempt. Moreover, Dolvi is only the second unit in the entire JSW Group to secure the Sword of Honour on its first attempt.
JSW Cement’s Nandyal unit has been recently honored with the prestigious CII-ITC Sustainability Award 2024 for Excellence in Biodiversity at the 19th edition of the CII-ITC Sustainability Awards held in New Delhi.
This recognition underscores JSW Cement’s unwavering commitment to embedding ecological sustainability into its business practices. Nandyal plant has conducted a comprehensive biodiversity assessment and formulated a strategic action plan for biodiversity conservation. Implementation is already underway, with initiatives such as native species plantations and the development of a butterfly garden currently in progress.
JSW Cement Limestone Mines has been awarded the coveted 5-Star Rating by the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. This prestigious recognition endorses JSW’s commitment to sustainable and responsible mining practices.
The Nandyal Mining Team achieved a significant milestone with its second consecutive 5-Star Rating—a testament to its consistent operational excellence, innovative environmental initiatives such as Mineral conservation, and adherence to sustainable practices, focus on scientific mining methods, large-scale afforestation, Green energy development, waste management and local community development, particularly in health and sanitation.
