Our interventions under this agenda are focused on ensuring that our people always remain ahead of the changing dynamics of the industry and grow as well-rounded domain experts.
The JSW Learning Academy called Percipio is an online and on-the-go repository of learning tools for employees to explore in line with evolving learning needs in the industry.
We want our internal talent pool to have exposure and experience in diverse functions and roles across the organisation. We are committed to creating such opportunities for employees at different career stages to build and enhance their domain knowledge across core and complementary functions. Besides online, classroom and other learning methods as means of capability building; development by way of job rotation, job enrichment and coaching on the job are important measures being pursued for accelerated learning and growth of the talent pool within JSW.
We organise various development programmes for capacity building, which lends our employees growth
opportunities. We are investing in upskilling them with modern technologies to build a team that will work
towards business continuity and reducing cost.
We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the "Technical Workshop on Roller Press & VRM - Maintenance," held at our Vijayanagar plant from 17th to 19th August 2023. During this intensive three-day workshop, participants engaged in rigorous discussions, brainstorming sessions, and enlightening site visits aimed at comprehending the essential fundamentals and parameters for achieving optimal maintenance practices. Additionally, common day-to-day challenges faced by our site engineers were openly discussed. The workshop concluded with the presentation of certifications to the participants by the Vijayanagar Plant Head and our esteemed workshop faculty.
This programme is a group wide intervention to identify employees with long-term potential and nurture them to grow into critical leadership roles in the Group. Building a strong internal talent pool for the emerging business needs while supporting the employees’ career aspirations is our key goal.
This is the JSW Women Leaders Programme in line with our agenda to increase gender diversity and make the organisation more conducive for women employees. The programme focuses on enabling women to identify the key skills necessary to advance in the workplace and state their career aspirations. The developmental input helps them practice high impact behaviours that will move women into leadership positions and help them eliminate limiting mindset that keeps them from achieving their potential.
Workshop on “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” Collaboration with Employees' Provident Fund at JSW Cement, Salboni
The workshop 'Nidhi Aapke Nikat' was organized by the JSW Cement Salboni HR Team on August 28, 2023, in close collaboration with the Employees' Provident Fund Organization, West Bengal Circle. We had over a hundred employees and associates participate in the workshop.
The motto of the workshop was a broad-based participatory awareness and outreach program for employers and employees, serving as a grievance redressal platform for members and an information exchange network. Twenty-seven different types of grievances related to the Provident Fund were successfully resolved during this workshop.
